Fun in the Sun (& in the Water)!

This past weekend we had the opportunity to get out of the heat & take a dip in a refreshing pool. We actually had a chance to swim in 3 different pools in 5 days! Riley's first pool experience was with her buddy Logan at our friend's aunt's pool. It was beautiful, warm, yet refreshing & it had some nice shady areas so we could help keep Riley out of the direct sun. We also got her this inflatable ladybug that she was able to float around in. She is still a little small for it, so she kept leaning from side to side, but it was adorable. She did great, but boy was that diaper a few pounds heavier when she got out. It just soaked up so much water.

On Sunday we celebrated Uncle Tim's birthday with a swim in my parents' pool. (Happy Birthday Tim!) We had a lot of fun spending time with the family. I lived with my mom for 3 years in that town home, & never went into the pool. Since we had such a good time, I think we will be back at least once a week to help get out of this heat.
