Here is what Riley has been up to in her 14th month:

- Riley knows the difference between several songs. She loves to hear them & intereacts with some of them. She chimes in with the dog sounds when we sing, "How Much is that Doggy in the Window" and points to her head when she hears, "Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes."
- She also recognizes the ends of songs & starts clapping and saying "yeah" when a song is finishing.
- She is walking & running around like crazy, babbling the entire time.
- She can point out your nose when asked.

- When we say the word "fish" she points to her chest because of Daddy's T-shirt with the fish on it.
- She says "hi" & waves, especially to animals, real or stuffed.
- Mommy has started a temporary part-time job & so Riley has been spending a lot of time with Daddy lately. Therefore, our clients know her well & the people at Starbucks know her by name. :-)
- Daddy has also taken her to the beach & is enjoying spending quality time with her.
- She likes the beach, but thinks that sand feels funny.
- She started a teeny tumbler class last week.
- She went to her first petting zoo & met some goats & sheep. She made sure to say & wave "hi" to each one.
- She also went to the LA Zoo & had a close encounter with a Gorilla! He/She saw Riley & came over just to sit by her! (We think it may have wanted her pacifier)

P.S. Your re-run of Family Feud was on this week here, the one against the Sneads. So fun to see you on TV!
Riley's a blessed wee lad to have such fun parents- you guys introduce her to lots of fun things. Can't wait to hear more about Tiny Tumblers (I think that's what it's called)! So looking forward to the next time we get to have our babies around each other. It feels like they're actually lower maintenance now that they're more stable on their feet!
