Today is my Dad's 70th birthday! He has experienced so much in life. He grew up in Pennsylvania. He found his love for writing very early when he worked on the local paper in his small town. He served in the army & was stationed in Korea where he worked on the Stars & Stripes Newspaper. He moved out to CA after falling in love with our CA January weather.

One of the things I admire most about him is how much he surrounds himself by the things he loves. He spends his life doing the things he is passionate about or spending time with the people he loves most in life. Theater is a huge part of that. He has been acting, directing, producing, & reviewing plays for more than 40 years! He has been writing for newspapers even longer! He has also made lifetime friendships with those that share his same love for words & knowledge playing Scrabble & Trivial Pursuit. He is a true lesson in living life to the fullest!

A Tribute from local professional theater, SCR (My dad has reviewed all but 1 show & has seen every show ever performed there...on both of its stages!!)
We had a party for him at my brother & sister-in-law's house yesterday. It was a wonderful tribute. Brenda's Scrabble decorations were thoughtful & fantastic! So many friends came & it was so great to see this reunion of people who span over 40 years of friendship. Overall, we had a great time & I think my dad was very touched by it all.
Dad, with the party hosts, Brenda & Tim
Happy 70th Dad!
