20 Months - October 20th

Riley has turned 20 months...well...almost a month ago (sorry so late). :-(

I am not sure when we are supposed to stop counting by months, & instead just count by years. Anyway, she has reached 20 months now…& I am so amazed to see what wonderful little girl she turning into.

Latest & Greatest:
· She can now not only open our front door, but also unlock it.
· She points to her diaper & says “poo poo’ & “pee pee”
· Says “buh-bye” to everything (the dogs, the car, the bath water, poo poo & pee pee in her diaper or after flushing the toilet)
· She plays along with 5 different verses of “If You’re Happy & You Know It” that we sing at the library (clap hands, stomp feet, whistle, pat knees & shout “hurray”)
· She gives hugs & kisses spontaneously & when asked
· She has started playing intently with dolls & stuffed animals. She will give them drinks from her sippy cups, high fives, hugs & kisses.
· She calls her blankie, “night night”
· We also learned this song at the library where she pretends that she is a lion sleeping in the jungle, & then when it gets to the “weem-away” part she dances like crazy.
· She meows like a cat.
· She loves to look at herself in the mirror when she is all dressed up in a dress with a skirt that twirls or a fun costume.
