Less than 8 weeks & counting... I just hit the 32 week mark yesterday. What is really strange to realize is that Aaron was born premature at 32 weeks! And he was still 7 pounds!! I do not believe that Riley is anywhere near ready yet, but that is a very thought-provoking reality. In fact, Aaron has been on me about packing my bag for the hospital. He is right though...you just never know.
We have our follow up ultrasound Tuesday, January 9th. We are very excited about this appointment. Not only will we get to see Riley again, but we will also find out about her kidneys & how they are developing. We hope & pray to find out that she has just grown into them & that everything is developing at a healthy pace. I will update you all on that when we know more. Thank you all for your prayers.
On another note, awhile back my sister-in-law Megan (when she was pregnant) :-), made a comment that people seem to be nicer to pregnant women. I think I agree. At the grocery store recently, I had 3-4 people offer to help me and/or tell me to have a good day with a big smile. I know that is part of it is their job, but there was definitely a noticeable difference. Also, so many people ask when you are due and it is a great conversation starter.
