2 Months Old & Just Adorable!

On Friday, April 20th, Riley turned 2 months old! She has grown so much already, and it has been an amazing learning experience for Aaron & I. Everyday, every week, there are new obstacles, new discoveries, and new joys. Here are just a few facts about our precious Riley Mae:

• As of 4/20/07 she weighs 11 lbs 4.4oz & is 23" in length


• She will grow out of her 3 month clothing very soon


• Started smiling at 4-5 weeks (which makes everything worth it)


• Started cooing & smiling at 6 weeks (which just melts my heart)


• At 6 weeks, she also started making eye contact & responding to interactions we have with her


• She sleeps 5-6 hours at night & a couple of times she slept 7-8 hours! (Thank you Riley!)


• She has discovered her hands and is moving her hands them a lot more & sucking on them occasionally. She has even grabbed a burp cloth a couple of times.


• She loves to coo, smile, play & laugh!


• She loves "talking" to Mommy & Daddy. She has even made a couple of sounds that sounded like "hi" & bye."


• She likes show tunes (even though mommy may sing them out of tune)


• She enjoys bath time, but not diaper changes so much (we are working on that).


• She is enjoying her new friends - Mr. Glow Worm (who helps her fall asleep), a stuffed giraffe & a musical dragonfly.


• She has ventured out to many places, such as: church, Grandma Mills', Grandma Titus', Pet Expo at the OC Fairgrounds, hiking at Irvine Park, Bari Bari (yummy yummy), the mall and a car show at the Orange Circle.
