Last weekend, we went on a hike with Riley, our 2 dogs Phoebe & Bailey, Riley's Uncle Tim & Aunt Brenda, & their dog, Roxy. It was a fun day out for us all. We met at Irvine Park. There were 4 adults, 3 dogs (one which carried all the gear...way to go Roxy), 1 baby, 1 stroller & a partridge in a pear tree. No, sorry, wrong season. We must have looked a bit odd as a group; especially when I was 4 wheeling the stroller through the grass & dirt on the hike. There were small patches of flowers in the grass that had bees in them. I dodged those as much as possible, both for my sake & Riley's. (Oh, and Tim - Mom said she thinks that Irvine Park was the park with all the bees.)
Aaron & Tim took the dogs down into the river bed & let them run around off leash. They got a lot of energy out, & they had a ball. Brenda & I enjoyed a nice hike up above & had some great conversation. It was so nice to be outside, enjoying nature & being active. I value those small things so much. The funny thing was, we were so excited to take Riley to the park, & she slept the whole time & did not see anything. She does not even know we went to the park.
Oh, we also took a short trip to a local Pet Expo on 4/14 with Aunt Brenda & Grandma Mills. There all sort of animals to look at...and yes, she slept in the stroller mostly there too. However, the second picture shows how cute she looked in her sun cap & sundress that.

Wow I look huge in that picture. Nice! You think that walking would have helped me loose some weight.
