This past weekend we took Riley on vacation with us the the river. To be honest, I was a little nervous about she would do. The heat, the car trip, the fact that she is only 3 months old & all the sunblocks say to only apply to babies over 6 months of age. I was a worried mommy. To my incredibly pleasant surprise, Riley was wonderful! And...very cute in her River outfits. The heat was not too bad and Riley took lots of naps. She loved being outdoors & able to look around at all the people, the dogs & the water.
She even went in a pool with her friend Logan. There were also several people from our church at the campground with us & they enjoyed holding & playing with Riley.
We also brought our 2 golden retrievers, & they loved it! They enjoyed swimming & being pet by all the people there. Bailey would play fetch in the river all day, if we let her.
Aaron got to fish a little & ride the sea doo. I even got 2 trips out the the sea doos! It was a great mini vacation. Next up, an RV trip to Big Sur in June. After making it through this trip, I am very excited about our next adventure!
