Introducing the Returning Champs - the Mills Team!

We came, we played & then we went to Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles! Unfortunately, the food was the best part of our day. Okay, maybe not. Playing Family Feud was still very fun & we had amazing support from family & friends who came to watch us (which was awesome); but alas, we lost to brownies.

The morning started off great. We were pumped. We felt revived, more rested & much fresher than the first time. We got their right on time, & then it all went by so fast. It is a big blur. We played our first, & only game of the day (boo hoo), and lost. It was a close game though, & we put up a great fight! It came down to one final answer. We could not think of it & the other team stole the points with...Brownies. I love brownies...But I make rethink think that passion in life.

Oh well, we were 2 time champions & we had a lot of fun! The contestant coordinators on staff were wonderful & so friendly, they made you feel like you have known them for years. The host, John O'hurley, is really a great guy too. There is a chance we may be asked back for some sort of week of champions (that did not win the big money), & we would be more than excited to have that opportunity.

After our unfortunate loss, our family & friends all joined us at Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles. Yes, that is right, chicken & waffles. Do you know what? They are great together! Their waffles are amazing on their own, with cinnamon in the batter; but the chicken is fantastic too. This made for a very pleasant end to the somewhat disappointing day.
