It seems like it has been so long since I have seen Aaron & his brother Jason together. It was kind of neat to sit between them in the cab from the airport. Aaron & I started dating when both of them were in high school. I got kind of nostalgic remembering the “good ole days” - going on dates with the whole family, dinners, football games, church events, dances, Polly’s Pies, playing Bust-a-move, & hanging out with Greg. It felt good to all be together again.
Even better now, there is Jason’s amazing wife Megan. She is such a blessing in his life & ours. I only regret that we have not had a chance to spend much time together. I am looking forward to these next two weeks, though. We have now both had babies & there is so much to talk about & share. Aaron & I are excited to see where Jason & Megan have been serving as missionaries these past few years; as well as incredibly overjoyed to meet our nephew, Christian.
Shortly after we arrived at Jason & Megan’s flat. Megan & Christian came home. After quick catnaps, the two cousins (Riley & Christian) were introduced. Wow! These two are so cute together. There is such a huge size difference & they are only 2 months apart. Riley was still a bit groggy from the day’s travels, but they got along well. We look forward to spending time with all of them during the next 2 weeks.
