I am not sure when Aaron went lawn bowling with Jason & Christian, but I needed a picture for Tuesday. :-) Tuesday
Our favorite thing to do while we are here is to just join Jason & Megan in their everyday lives. This morning, Aaron met with Jason & a few other men for a time of prayer. They met just before 7:30 am, & thanks to Riley, I got to sleep in a little.
The boys came back from their prayer time & gave Megan & I a chance to head out to a weekly women's meeting at Starbucks. We took the Underground there. I got to meet JJ & Jaelyn, who had an 8 week old beautiful baby girl. I cannot believe that Riley was ever that small! We had a great time talking. I am so impressed by the friends they have over here. They are also so warm & inviting. Aaron & I have felt so welcomed & comfortable with all of their friends.

One thing that I want to make sure to comment on is their timing over here. It is crazy (in a good way). Or at least, it is crazy compared to California people. Being a walking culture, they know exactly how long it takes to get anywhere. They can literally plan their schedules down to 5 minute intervals. The occasional times that they do take the bus, train or Underground, they can still time it pretty accurately because they only leave at certain times. Back in California, you need to add an extra half hour (at least) to get anywhere because of traffic.
Tuesday was a pretty relaxing day overall. It was pretty wet & cold outside, so we stayed in for the most part. We had a nice dinner with their friend Claire B. & enjoyed chatting with her about her upcoming trip to Portsmouth.
