The only thing we do not like about fall is that we do not get to see the colors change & the beauty here in California like you do elsewhere. However, we love: pumpkins, those leaves that do change colors here, wearing cozy sweaters, drinking apple cider, Thanksgiving, basically all that fall represents. A few years ago, we started a tradition with our friends called Fall Walk. We usually go to Starbucks, get some hot apple cider & then go for a walk in a local pumpkin patch. Well, this year our pumpkin patch moved, so we had to find a better location; and we did!

Last week, together with our dear friends, Brian, Tay & Logan, we traveled down to Irvine & went to Tanaka Farms. There, we rode a wagon through a giant pumpkin patch, navigated our way through a corn maze, picked some vegetables right out of the ground & even saw a pumpkin get launched through the air by some sort of cannon. We missed out on the apple cider, but it is still early in the season & we are excited about having the opportunity to do Fall Walk again with our brother & sister-in-law, Megan & Jason, & their baby Christian who will be here in Orange County soon!
Riley loved standing in the wagon & watching the pumpkins go by.
We made it to the center of the corn maze!
The carrots are harder to pull than you may think.
I love that we have started a new tradition with our family & I look forward to many years of fun Fall Walks.
