Happy Easter!

This past weekend was a fun-filled Easter Egg-stravaganza!

Friday

It started on Friday with a very nice Good Friday Service. It is always one of the hardest services to attend because of the day in history it represents. Our pastor & church did a beautiful job at making the evening so meaningful.

Saturday
Olinda Nursery Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday morning, Aaron & I, along with our associates Robert & Lacey, hosted an Easter Egg Hunt at the Olinda Nursery in Brea. The nursery has so many beautiful, fragrant, colorful plants & flowers. It is the perfect place to spend a beautiful spring morning. Riley was able to enjoy this year's egg hunt a little more than last year's, now that she can get around. She found 1 egg all by herself. She loved shaking it to hear something that was inside. She also had lots of fun sitting with her Grandma Beth, Aunt Brenda, & Uncle Tim sorting out little rocks on the ground.

Easter morning, Riley wore her Easter dress & her own little (bit too big for her) bonnet to church. What a joyous occasion - celebrating the resurrection of Jesus! We had baptisms that morning & there were great stories shared & life changing decisions made. It was a great celebration.

Riley & her friend, Logan
After church we were joined by Grandpa Tom & Aunt Deenie & enjoyed an amazing brunch at Aaron's parents' house. Thank you so much Richard & Rebecca - your house is beautiful & the food was delicious! After brunch, we worked off our food with a lovely walk & fed the ducks in Tri-City Park. It was a great day!

We hope you all had a very nice Easter too!
