- She now says "Thank you" all the time! I am happy that those are the words she has decided to keep repeating. It is very cute. You just feel like you keep having to say "your welcome" back to her.
- She is saying "Momma!" Yeah!!
- Riley loves bubbles & will say that word often. She calls balls, "Bubbles" too.
- The one green vegetable she will eat is edamame. Her new favorite fruit is chilled grapes.
- She waves hello & good-bye to The Backyardigans.
- She is so smart! She plays with this wooden, color-coded, shape sorting stacker toy & knows exactly what goes where. She will even pretend to put the square on the triangle peg, look at you to tell her "no," but then she tells you, "no" & puts it on the correct peg. She already knows how to tease. Uh-oh.
- Had a rough past month - she had 4 molars come in & had a bout of Roseola with a fever & skin rash.
- Her new favorite game is running from one side of the room to the other & hitting the door with her hands. She laughs hysterically while she is doing it. She especially loves to play that game with her friend, Logan.
- She is not enjoying learning discipline from Mommy & Daddy; & although she is great overall, we are seeing the signs of needing to make sure we discipline accordingly.
- She enjoys giving hugs too!

17 Months
Today Riley is 17 months old. Her personality is really starting to come through now. How amazing it is to watch this little, tiny, precious baby who could barely hold up her head up 16 1/2 months ago, grow, change, learn everything, walk, run, babble, smile, laugh, play with the dog's water...(okay, she is not supposed to do that one). Here are some of Riley Mae's updates:

Oh Riley I love you and your chocolatey chip smile- happy 17 months!
It's true about the "you're welcome" thing. When I babysat her, she said "thank you" for every little edamame bean I popped out for her. I wanted to keep feeding her just to hear it!
But the best moment came when she thanked me for changing her diaper. Now that makes you feel good!
