August Boeing Beach Day

In late August we joined my mom, some family (Tim, Brenda, Rebecca & our frined Tony), & my mom’s work friends at the Boeing Beach Clean-Up after party at Huntington Beach. It was a lot of fun. Riley, who used to not like sand, overcame her distaste for the grainy substance when she found both the snack table & the lifeguard tower. Nothing could stop her from either place, except of course, the grapes that we offered her back at the chairs. I think she thought that the lifeguard tower was a big, giant slide. Every time Daddy started to walk her back to the picnic area, she would sneakily run back to the tower. Luckily, duty called, & the lifeguard did not notice Riley climbing on his tower. We had a blast & we know that the other members of Team Boeing did a lot of good cleaning up that morning.
