13 Months

Time goes by so quickly…Kaylyn is already past 13 months!

This past month, she has been getting stronger & her personality is really starting to shine through! Here is Kaylyn’s latest & greatest update for 13 months. She:

• Weighs 22lbs
• LOVES Books! Every morning we walk into her room. She smiles at us and then points to all her books, saying, “booka, booka, booka!”
• Says, ”Mamma,” “Dadda,” “bob-ba” (bottle), “booka” (book), "hi," "bye," "bub-bye," “isthat,” (I think that means what is that?)
• Waves hi & bye
• Lifts her arms up real high when you say, “so big!”
• Likes to point at the pictures in her books and babble something as she peruses each page
• Can almost walk…and is able to stand up on her own
• Enjoys climbing up our stairs…and sliding back down them

• Went from no teeth to 4 teeth in one month!
• Absolutely loves to ride the swings at the park. She thinks it is hysterical when she crashes into you too.
• Likes to play with the magnets on our fridge
• Loves to tackle anything big, soft & cushy…like a bean bag chair…or our dog, Phoebe…or daddy …or mommy
